What about face-data privacy?
Face data is stored securely, used only for check-in matching, and can be deleted on request — visitors can always use a non-biometric check-in instead.
What hardware do we need?
A tablet or small PC with a camera at reception, and optionally a camera at the vehicle gate. SmartGate works with standard hardware — no proprietary kiosks.
Can it open our doors and barriers?
Yes — through integrations with access controllers such as Matrix COSEC, running in live deployments today.
Does reception need training?
About ten minutes of it. The design goal is that a first-day receptionist can run the front desk without help.
